Many people have skills just about anything, and some people needed those skills because they do not posses them. In order to connect this two type of people Fiverr was created. Fiverr is the best everybody’s looking to hire someone about their special skill set. Fiverr also the best place for people looking to showcase and sell their services.
There’s too much competition for seller to showcase themselves on Fiverr, hence they’re struggling still to get more sales. Now I am going to share with your some the things you can do to increase sales in Fiverr;
- Add a better looking profile picture. The more attractive the picture is, the more attention you will be able to get. You don’t to pretend to be someone else, people will not trust if you do this. You need to get the best clear cut picture of yourself to gain people’s trust and attention.
- Create the best thumbnail image and title for the gig. This is also another criteria to get people’s attention. Try to make the title as small in word, eye-catching and use only keywords that people going to actually search for it. The thumbnail image it depends on the nature of service that you providing you can incorporate them as part of your testimonial or sample’s of pictures of your work to your potential customer.
- Get more reviews and gig saves. You can either grow it organically or you can purchase them yourself from this site that I am currently working with. You can get them both in the same package you can check them out in my credential up above. You have the potential to be ranked higher in the search engine result with having more positive reviews and gig saves.
- Create more unique gig to your buyer. If you provide the same services it’s okay, you can try to leverage it by offering something more and better that requires personal getting in-touch session with your buyers. Not only you will be preferred more by your buyers, you also creating a more small business market only for yourself to conquer.
- Promote your gig on social media networks. In order to increase your sale, you need to get your gig as many exposure as you can. Hence, it’s best for you to promote your gig to your other social media networks such as Facebook, Instagram, forums like Reddit, Hacker News and many others. Try to target those that actually needed you service.
Now this is easy but tricky.
Let us break the above statement in 2 parts.
- Easy part is that you need to take care of few points:
- Make use of gigs. Even if you have limited skills, make all gigs. Like if a new freelancer is allowed to make only 5 Gigs as max, make use of all of them. Yous hould never let that count get wasted.
- Make sure that English in all Gigs description is perfect and concise. Mention points, format like bold or highlight.
- Images used in Fiverr gig is important as well. Customise it and display your name and skill logo on the image. Like showing Android Studio icon if gig is about Android development.
- Attempt on bids. Read how to write a good bid. Usually, its a rule of repeating the problem, proving you can solve it and in a reslly good price. On Fiverr, prices are usually low, notice that. Everyday you get 10 bids. Use them.
Tricky part is:
- Keeping up to it. You might not get an order straightaway but keep bidding and reading how to do better. Use your bids everyday.
- Try not to worry a client. Take a note that Fiverr customer service is slightly leaned towards clients even when they are wrong. You do not want a bad review to be posted on your profile. Let go and live to fight another day.
Good luck!
Hi,
- This is one of your options
SUBMITTING OFFERS TO BUYER REQUESTS
If buyers are having trouble finding what they're looking for or have a special request, they can submit a Gig request. Gig requests matching the subject for a Gig you offer will appear on the Recent Buyer Requestspage.
For example, if someone requests 20 video testimonials for a project and you offer video testimonials, you will see the buyers Gig request.
Note: Misuse of the Buyer Request feature, such as advertising your services as a seller, may lead to your account being disabled.
To send an offer to a Gig request:
- Once logged in, click Selling > Buyer Requests.
At the top, you can see the total amount of active requests, the total amount of offers you've sent, and how many offers you have left to send today. In the Search buyer requests field, you can enter a term to search and narrow the list downIn the All Subcategories field, you can filter requests based on different subcategories in which you offer Gigs.
From the list of requests, you can see the description and metadata entered by the buyers to help you make your decision to offer your services. For example, if you do video testimonials, the buyer can select Man, Young Adult, German as metadata fields. - When you find a request you like, click Send Offer.
A summary of the buyer request appears at the top. - Select a Gig, which is relevant to the Request.in
- the Include Gig Extras area, add the extra services you would like to offer. In the Define Additional Details area, write a personalized message. For example, you can write details on what you can provide and the reasoning for your pricing.
- Click Submit Offer.Offer Sent appears indicating you've responded to the Gig request.
Note: In the Active Requests field, you can see the number of Gig requests available for you to respond and in the Offers Sent field, you can see the total amount of offers you have sent to date.
- That is another options
1. Spend time optimizing your gig description…friendly, clear, concise, use correct categories and keyword tags, use samples of your real better to break apart keyword phrases when creating tags (remember they don’t work the same way Google search does).
2. Use all the gigs you are allowed to use. This is a common sense tip. The more gigs you have, the more sales you will make. The ideal (in my opinion) is to keep more your gigs on the same topic/niche. This way, if you are a true seller and one who delivers professionally, you will appear as an expert in your field and you will have many repeat customers.
3. After that, you can create 5 to 10 similar gigs for related but slightly different types of products. When a seller sells a cluster of gigs, ALL their gigs will rank higher. Your gig may be on line six, then you get four or five reviews, and suddenly your gig will be on line three.Having more gigs overall with a specific keyword tag will help a seller rank well for that term.
4. Get a cluster of gig sales by promoting in social media, through email lists, and to your close allies and family.
Twitter
Twitter is very powerful social media network. If you are not using twitter then start using it. It will help you to reach your clients/buyers.
- Create a twitter account tweet your gig.
If you don't have time to create content or don't have the patience/motivation, post tweets with links to informative and interesting articles related to your service.
- Add image to tweet, it may be your gig image or any other image.
For example, you can post an image with an inspirational quote to get more attention of people.Craft good tweets with attractive images to entice people. This massively increases the chance that people will click on your link. I'd recommend using Canva for the images - it's free to use and you can create great graphics quickly.
- Do not tweet the same thing repeatedly, people will lose interest.
Use Buffer to schedule tweets to your posts (or other articles) in advance, and keep them consistent and relevant. Throw a few tweets advertising your gig on Fiverr every now and then - I'd suggest one advertisement every 7 or 8 tweets. Don't only self-promote though or people will unfollow you very quickly.
- Post something new related to your gig.
- Use hashtags related to your gig in your tweet.
Suppose someone looking for a freelance writer and if you have posted a tweet with a freelance writer, then your tweet will be displayed in his search result and he can go through your tweet.Follow people who would potentially buy your products. I recommend using Manageflitter to follow targeted accounts with keywords relating to your gig.
Facebook Groups
Facebook groups are really the best place to share your Fiverr Gigs, but you should share your Gig in relevant groups. For Example, If you are offering guest posting to your high PR Domains then you should have to shares that Gig with the Facebook group of bloggers. You can’t get orders if you share that gig to entertainment groups on Facebook.
- Search for Groups Relevant to your Fiverr Gig
- Try to find group larger groups. e.g Having millions of members.
Promote Gig Via Blog
Fiverr Introduced new feature a few months ago, by using that feature you can promote your Fiverr Gig on your website or blog. This is really cool functions, this will help you to convert your visitors to your clients/buyers. Basically this a widget for your blog. You can also display it in your pages and posts rather than only in sidebar or footers.
YouTube
One of the best platform to share your Gig. Create a video in which you explain each and everything about your services. I recommend you if you are providing video intro or video explaining type services then create some sample videos and upload on youtube and also monetize them so you can create some extra income from these videos using AdSense. When your buyer asks for sample send them your youtube links. And when you are promoting gig on other platform share your youtube video link to sample video or video that explain your gig. Share your Gig link in your video description on YouTube. Also, do some SEO of your Video and high search keywords. Many Fiverr sellers are using this method to promote their Gigs.
Guest Posting
One of the best method and best for your SEO of your Fiverr Gig. Post your article related to your Gig on different blogs and add your Fiverr Gig or Fiverr Profile link in the article and below in the author bio. If you are article Writer then this method is for you to promote your Fiverr Gig. Tell your buyers about your experience of guest posting and share your guest post links with them, it will help you to convert buyer into your clients. Write attractive, creative, user-friendly article while guest posting so when you provide your guest post as a sample, it should make a good impression on your buyer.
Fiverr Official Forum
Fiverr Official Forum is the platform to promote yourself and your Gigs. Mostly all the buyers and sellers of the Fiverr are registered there and read the article and answer questions. So you should use this platform also so that you can grab more buyers attention and with your quality of services you can convert them to clients.
5. Respond quickly to all messages and give smart responses to your reviews.First of all, you want to review all of your buyers.Use all the characters allowed to write a review that will promote the buyer as a great buyer. Moreover, use gig keywords in your reviews. This is important and you can rank well in search engines too and obviously on Fiverr. All these buyer reviews along with your keyword-related answers will count like comments in a blog post and will help the overall promotion of your gig.
6. Avoid cancellations, but cancel if it looks like a gig will get less than 5 stars. This is highly important and I am sure it concerns many "real" sellers. You know of course that most smart buyers are searching on Fiverr based on the rating of sellers. And this makes sense since high rated sellers will likely deliver professionally, right? They have been tested. So, you want as many positive reviews for all your gigs as possible to get more orders. When you do have an order though, it is important not to forget to kindly ask for a positive review when delivering. Do not let the buyer leave a negative review. In your gig delivery mention that if they are unsatisfied they should message you prior to leaving a negative review. If they are still unhappy, offer them to cancel the order. A negative review does not worth the $4 (or maybe more) you earn. You don't want that damaging review so (I recommend) you cancel the order. You know there will always be bad people or competitors who will try to leave a bad review on purpose. Again, try to be as kind and professional as possible with these people and if they appear frustrated or anything offers them a refund and cancel the order and the case ends there.
7. Provide bonuses and make offers. The idea is to always over-deliver. I am sure you already know that. Add a bonus right after the order to keep buyer busy, a bonus along with the gig delivery and of course, a bonus right after the positive review. Also, message your buyers and make them unique offers of value.
8 Tips to Drastically Increase Your Fiverr Sales
- Offer Surprising Value.
- Offer Something Unique. There are a lot of gigs on Fiverr, and there are a lot of variations on the same concepts over and over.
- Offer Up-sells and Extras - A huge amount of the value people get out of Fiverr comes from upsells, even when the site is presumably based around the $5 transaction. With upsells you might end up making $30 or $50 or more per sale, rather than just $5. Ideally, upsells will be targeted at specific users, not just general add-ons people would need. Think customization options, not “you need this upsell if you want your product to function.”
- Solicit Excellent Feedback- On any site where sellers compete with each other to attract buyers, feedback becomes essential. Two sellers with the same service, one with 70% positive feedback and one with 95% positive, the 95% positive will most likely win the sales. This has a snowball effect, because the more sales you make, the higher the volume of positive feedback you can get.
- Offer a Guarantee - When you offer a money-back guarantee, you’re offering to cancel transactions if a user isn’t satisfied. The user doesn’t need to pay, and since the transaction is cancelled, any negative feedback they left is removed.
- Keep Your Title Short - The shorter a gig title is, the easier it is to understand and parse immediately. It’s also important because Fiverr is a very space-premium site. Gig displays, particularly locations on the front page, don’t have a ton of space to view the details of a gig. You get a limited number of characters, and you need to make the most out of them.
- Write a Very Detailed Description - Fiverr limits your descriptions to a mere 1200 characters. This is really, really not much space. Depending on how verbose you are, that’s 200-250 words. This means you have to strive for concise clarity in your descriptions as much as possible. In some ways, it’s the exact opposite of most web writing. You can use formatting to make things cleaner to look at, though.
- Produce a Video Description - Producing an explanatory video 30-120 seconds in length is ideal for getting the point across. A good video is relatively easy to produce – or you could commission it on Fiverr – and it will dramatically boost your sales. Fiverr’s internal data says that video descriptions increase sales by 220%.
Thanks!
Fiverr is one of the biggest marketplaces you can use to sell your services or virtual goods online. The cost for services or virtual good available starts at $5, hence, its name. There are more than 2 million amazing services offered on their site. Fiverr is the best place for people who want to earn money by offering their unique services for an affordable price.
A buyer and a seller may choose different categories for the buy and sell services, and digital goods, but if you're just starting selling your services or digital products, it's very difficult. It can be pretty frustrating to get your first sale in Fiverr, because buyers are often looking for a high rating, and a good reputation from an experienced seller. Always have hope, though. Let's get started.
Defining Gig. So you're clear, Gig is a term Fiverr uses to describe a your particular service. Eg: My gig is updating websites.
Add your profile picture
Adding a picture to your Fiverr profile is very important, as it shows your buyers that you are a legit seller. Many people won't purchase a gig or product from someone without a profile picture. It makes people suspicious. Make sure you choose nice picture, with an honest and open expression.
Get your first sale
Before you can earn more sales or orders from Fiverr buyers, do your best to get the highest rating for your gig. This can be accomplished by making sure your first sale earns you a 100 percent positive feedback. Buyers will not hesitate to order a gig from you if you've already received positive feedback. You can also get your friends and/or family to help out, to get your first gig sale, and ensure positive feedback. That'll help you get started.
Know your skills
Be well informed about your skill, and it will make it easier for you to pick a category appropriate for your services. For example, if you are good at creating motion graphics using Adobe After Effects, then you can create a gig offering a good intro video presentation to your clients. If you are good in SEO and you have the ability to rank any keyword in the Google search engine, then offer your gig services in the SEO category. If you are good at writing web content or articles, then offer something more affordable, like providing two articles with 500 word counts for $5. You will begin to discover your potential to serve more clients in Fiverr.
Add a detailed description of your gig
Adding a long description of your gig is better than a short or concise description, because you are actually showing your willingness and dedication to providing a gig or services. Make it long and informative, and even include FAQ's.
Add video
You can add video to your specific gig page to explain how your service works.
Look at your sales analytics every day
Right at the top of your navigation menu, click your sales, and from the right side, click "Analytics". Look at your views or impressions, gig clicks and your CTR or click though ratio. Examine your analytics and you will probably see the bounce rate of your gigs. From that information, you can learn how to improve the description of your gigs to be more informative and attract more buyers. You will be able to figure out why you have a low gig conversion.
Improve the keywords on your gig
To make your gig stand out and to get more exposure to your gig service, you should improve your keywords. To do this, copy the keywords of the same gig service you offer, from a top seller. Put your keywords in the description and avoid over-stuffing.
Tips Tricks & Warnings
- Be patient. Don't give up on selling your gigs in Fiverr. Be patient and wait for the time you receive your first order. That's when things will start happening.
- Visit your Fiverr account regularly. You need to visit your account every day to stay active. Buyers don't order inactive gig services.
- Sell Private Label Rights products. If you don't have any skills to offer in Fiverr, you should try to buy and compile PLR articles and ebooks. Upload them to your file hosting account, and when someone orders from you, just give your download link.
It depends on what you mean by increase. Do you wish to make more sales? i guess that’s what you probably meant. There are many ways you can increase your sales on Fiverr but then you can never know except you intentionally go to seek for the answers.
there are a lot contents flying on the net that exactly answers your question but because you thought it proper to come and ask in this forum then i have some recommendations for you.
- Get a high quality video that EXPLICITLY explains what service you offer and try as much as possible to include everything you know that can probably arouse the interest of your prospective clients. A little lecture on human psychology would suffice.
- Make sure you constantly log into the platform. Fiverr have this algorithm that makes those who constantly login into their platform to easily become found upon search by buyers.
- If you are that desperate about making your first $4 (yeah Fiverr gets $1 for the opportunity they render to you to make sales).
- Keep your profile picture and gig description attractive and on the point.
- Be courteous when a buyer chats you up because this goes a long way to show them that your are reasonable and ready for business
- Use the buyers request page to seek for current offers from buyers
- Do a little SEO optimization on your gig title. This is particularly important because it mimics the mainstream search engines like Yahoo and Google. Do a thorough research on the top selling sellers in your niche and try and determine the keywords in their gig title. Don’t take this stage for granted. Very Important.
- When you eventually gets your first offer, make sure you deliver and EXCEPTIONAL service. To me, this is the most important part of it all. If you follow through the preceding steps and forget this step, i guarantee you that you will only make one sale and that would probably be your first and last sale. So what’s the way out? MAKE SURE that you are very GOOD in DOING WHAT YOU DO before even dreaming of making that $1000/month that you are dreaming of.
With these little contributions above, i am optimistic that you would make your first sale faster than if you do nothing but create you gig and hope that by some miracles, you would start making $1000/month overnight!
Success!
There is Several Ways to sell more or chances to get more order.
#1: Optimize your Gigs: It could be Keyword optimization. e.g. You gig doesnt have Vintage Keyword So, possibly you are missing those potential clients who are searching with Vintage Logo keywords.
#2: Add Video: Add video and Explain them what you are offering and what they will get. Stats shows those gigs which have a explanation videos are having less bounce rate. Sounds like you keep engage your potential buyer.
#3: Communication: Communication always plays the big role for client/project success, Better to speak with your client on DM before going ahead for custom order.
Now Off-Site methods:
#4 Social media: Use Social Media to get some sales, like post your gig link where people needs your services. In my eye Most effective Platforms are Facebook and LinkedIn and Even you can Quora as well but to Solve the Problems of people. Avoid Spamming or Un-wanted Private messages.
#5 Paid /Advertisement Campaigns: If you can invest $ then Paid advertisement also plays vital role for getting sales.
#6: Rank your Website: Build your Personal website, Show case your work, do the SEO of your Services also fruitful to you.
There is so many other legal / illegal methods are available, I have explained very few of them.
1- Communicate professionally
Being able to communicate effectively is the most important of all life skills. If you are not able to tell what services you are providing then no one is going to order your gig.
The way you talk to customers has a big impact on your brand. Nothing delivers customer satisfaction quite like consistently delightful communication.
2- Maintain 5 Star Rating
I’m sure you’ll agree that Feedback is the only thing which a buyer see before placing an order. It helps the client to know more about your services and quality.
Make sure of one thing, Treat the customers the way you wish to be treated & in return you will be their first priority every time when they need any work done.
3- Make a video of each Gig
This we promise, adding video will enhance your gigs & attract more buyers to visit in your profile which will increase the chance of getting more buyers. sound fantastic?
“VIDEO ON GIG INCREASES 220% SALES CHANCES” – FIVERR
You can add a sample of your work or you can make a descriptive video about your gig, so Even if they don’t buy, they might find a video of you interesting. The result? more visitors to your profile, which results in more sales for sure.
4- Detailed description
No matter how catchy your title is, but if you don’t have the detailed description of your gig you are still gonna lose buyers.
Imagine if you want to buy any product but you see nothing in the description, will you buy it? So while creating a gig, just see it from client view.
5- Offer a Guarantee
If you’re very confident in your Service you are providing then you can Guarantee a quality service to the client. They’ll feel they can trust you– and trust plays a major role in earning response & sale. That’s it? Obviously no! when someone is showing their trust in you then it is your duty to please them with your service.
But first, place your guarantee in your headline, or as close to your headline as possible to make sure all buyers see it in front and center. Many sellers save the guarantee for the end – this is a big mistake.
6- Pick The Right Price
Do market research on your competitors to determine the right price. To get more orders, at first you need to sell your services at low price. Once you maintained excellent feedback then you can charge a higher price for your services.
It is your job to understand what should be the price and what promises you should be making while offering your services.
7- Advertise your gigs on various platforms
Think of it, this can be one of the best ways of getting more clients. Ask your friends & family members to share your gig into there social accounts.
If you can afford then you can create your own website to get traffic organically. You can simply create your website using Wix or WordPress else you can create a facebook page. This shows that you are serious towards your work.
8- Have a Portfolio of Your Work
A portfolio can also be used as a tool to analyze your own skills and professional growth. A good portfolio helps your client to know about your accomplishments & strength.
If you have created your portfolio then its great, but if you haven’t created it yet go & create one. But here’s even more, just creating a portfolio is not enough. It should be tweaked and updated as time goes on.
Final Thoughts:
