Yes, I earned money through fiverr today for the first time. I opened my account 3 months before. And I listed my gig as subtitler.

I got my first client few days ago. He asked me to provide subtitles to his video, which was in hindi. Since I am not a native hindi speaker, I tried my best in transcription. - You don't have to get worked-up with WordPress / Joomla installations to get a good website going today. You can do it in a day's time with drag and drop website builders like WIX. Can charge $50 - $200 for a gig.

- You don't need Adobe Photoshop for most poster gigs today. Can charge $5 to $25.

I remember I read something very interesting a Top Fiverr Seller said in one interview: Fiverr is like a snowball effect.
